Beyond Intelligence Lab

We collaborate with education, government, and private institutions on research and product development opportunities to achieve hard-to-reach sustainable development goals that deliver a social, environmental, and economic impact locally, nationally, and internationally. We present our findings through diverse speaking engagements to scale these impacts.

Examples of Solutions

Our previous projects have resulted in the development of a multimodal AI tool for global pandemic resilience,  decision support tools for AI maturity from national to intergovernmental level and in diverse contexts  (also known as collective genius), fast-track biosecurity surveillance in African and Malaysian oil palm plantations, regional and national policy, program and information systerm for Attainable Housing,  Employer-led innovation for Immigrant Workforce Development, and a Social accounting matrix for Digital Circular Food Economy.

01 Pandemic Resilience

Developing an AI-calibrated ensemble of models to inform decision making - Concept to Prototype (December 2023)

We collaborate with industry, intergovernmental organisations, and higher education to develop technical reports enhancing our capabilities. Ensemble models are powerful tools for decision-making in public health, especially in the context of pandemics. By combining multiple models, we can gain a more comprehensive understanding of the situation and make more informed decisions. This approach can help us better predict the spread of disease, identify high-risk areas, and allocate more effectively.

02 Biosecurity

Surveillance on Oil Palm Plantations

Collaborating with Crown and regional research institutes, we conduct research on plant disease surveillance to ensure the health and productivity of oil palm plantations in Africa and Malaysia. By monitoring and detecting potential diseases early on, farmers can take necessary measures to prevent the spread of and protect their crops. This not only ensures sustainable supply of palm oil but also contributes to the economic growth of these regions.

03 AI Governance & Innovation

Collective Problem Solving

Governance of AI feedback loops is crucial to ensure that AI systems are continuously learning and improving. To prevent biases and errors from being perpetuated, we work with intergovernmental bodies and the private sector to develop frameworks and strategies to ensure that AI systems are reliable, trustworthy, inclusive and ethical.

04 Attainable Housing

Tools, Programs & Policies

Collaborating with local and regional  governments, we contribute to the development of effective policies, programs that led to an information system for attainable housing,

05 Sustainable Food Systems

Frontier Technologies

Leveraging big data and the analysis of international food systems, we develop solutions to the definition and feasibility of a digital circular food economy. We answer the simple but complex question: why does the world create enough food and yet food is not affordable?

06 Immigrant Workforce Development

Programs & Policies

Collaborating with local and regional  governments, we contributed to the development of effective policies, programs and tools for inclusive workforce development for immigrants and refugees.

How A Learning Mindset Can Transition You From Student to Leader

In this video, I share how having A Learning mindset Can Transition You From Student to Leader while you study or work abroad. #subscribe . In my speech, 'Transitioning from Student to Leader', I broke down The Crucial Relevance and Art of Learning, Unlearning and Re-learning drawing lessons from my first international education experience as a 23 year old black African girl. This art of learning, unlearning and re-learning, the grace of God and, the shoulders of men and women who realized my struggles of being 'the first' (or a new starter) and decided to help me has led me to be the leader that I am today and becoming. Victoria Agyepong: Research Excellence Lead, Commercial Development Manager and Founder in Plant Tech, Inclusive Workforce Development and Responsible AI. Praise God! The Stockholm Concert Hall, where I presented this speech, is where Nobel Peace Prizes are awarded and where the Swedish Institute Network for Future Global Leaders receive their diploma. One day, dead or alive, I believe that one of my works or inspirations will be awarded on this same stage on diversity, equity and inclusion. Sweden was my first study destination and it was the most eye-opening experience that I have had till date. I hope this helps you develop your own pot of wisdom to be the changemaker that you are. If it is any encouragement, it took time but the grass was greener not only for me but for my loved ones. We created Beyond3Generations so that it does not take you 8 years to figure this out too. So, God bless you and we pray that you succeed. #NeverGiveUp #neverlosehope Source: Speech Presented at the 2015 Diploma Ceremony of Swedish Institute Network for Future Global leaders (NFGL) Beyond3Generations leverages AI and social media platforms to share knowledge on positive work, responsible education and digital inclusion for young talents and new immigrants interested in Green + Healthy futures. How To Demonstrate Competency as a Young Worker

This video, " My Imperfect Journey in the Perfect Little Economy" is part of Responsible Immigrant Career Transition. However, a lot of #youngworkers find career transitions too daunting that they choose to hide their exceptional #leadership capabilities than to explore the uncertain vast and, potentially rewarding space of career transitions. A puzzling concern for higher education are the number of highly qualified young talents who do not consider themselves "good enough" Ior "strong enough" to be the difference that they envision in new communities, new countries and new regions. Most of these fears are justified by previous toxic work experiences young workers or their peers have faced. Our Executive Director, Victoria Agyepong, will be sharing her lessons learned from unlikely career transitions from Regional Economic Development Planning in Canada to Corporate Management in New Zealand to foster responsible agency among young workers. --------------- Learn more at https://linktr.ee/beyond3generations ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Liability Waiver and Disclaimers.
